1. Alexander Espresso
• 1 cup Cold water
• 2 tb Ground espresso coffee
• 1⁄2 Cinnamon stick (3" long)
• 4 ts Crème de Cacao
• 2 ts Brandy
• 2 tb Whipping cream, chilled
• Grated semisweet chocolate to garnish How To:
Break out your espresso machine for this one or just make really strong coffee with a small amount of water. Break cinnamon stick into small pieces and add to hot espresso. Allow to cool for 1 minute. Add crème de cacao and brandy, and stir gently. Pour into cute demitasse cups. Whip the cream, and float some cream on top of each cup. For looks, garnish with grated chocolate or fancy chocolate curls. Multiply proportions by six and it's perfect for a party. Serves 2
2. CANADIAN COFFEE
2. Canadian Coffee
1⁄4 c Maple syrup; pure
1⁄2 c Rye whiskey
3 c Coffee; hot, black, double strength
3⁄4 c Whipping cream 4 ts Maple syrup; pure
Topping: Whip cream with maple syrup just up until soft mounds; set aside. Divide maple syrup and whiskey among 4 warmed heatproof glass mugs or goblets. Pour in coffee to 1 inch of top; spoon topping over coffee.

Consciously or unconsciously, our feelings about almost everything are largely molded by ready-made opinions and attitudes fostered by our mass methods of communication. We cannot buy a bar of soap or a filtered cigarette without paying tribute to the impact of suggestion. Right or wrong, most of us place more confidence in what "they" say than we do in our own powers of reason. This is the basic reason why psychiatrists are in short supply. We distrust our own mental processes and want an expert to tell us what to think and feel.
Despite this tendency to adopt our attitudes from others, man has always been dimly aware that he can influence his own destiny by directing his thoughts and actions into constructive channels. He has always, to some extent, known that his mind exerts a powerful influence on his body, and that thoughts can have harmful or helpful effects on his emotional and physical health. The ancient Egyptian sleep temples and the attempts by early physicians to drive evil spirits out of the body were both attempts to influence the body through the mind.
The unprecedented sale of The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale and other inspirational literature proves that millions of modern people recognize the efficacy of constructive thoughts. What most of them do not recognize is that they are capable of implanting these beneficial thoughts in their own minds without reference to any outside agencies. This can be done through self-hypnosis.
In modern society we have many cults, religions and methodologies which have mental discipline as their goal. The best example of a methodology is psychosomatic medicine which deals with the interrelationship of the mind and body in the production of mental or physical illness. The rapid growth of hypnosis in the last few years is another example, and it is gratifying to see that the emphasis in this field is now shifting from hetero-hypnosis to self-hypnosis.

2) Avoid eating three square meals a day, resort to small meals each time you feel hungry.
3) Include a protein food in every meal you take. Since protein takes longer time to digest, it burns more calories.
4) Include regular exercise in your daily regime to enhance your metabolic rate.
5) Start the day with a healthy high protein breakfast; it reduces the production of hormones that cause stress.
6) Never go for a fat-free diet. Include moderate amounts of healthy fats like olive oil, flax seed oil, coconut oil and cod liver oil.
7) Try to sleep adequately. Hormones released by the body during sleep affects the usage of energy.
Addison Publishing This book is a simple, practical guide to swing trading. For years I have been reading books and exploring web sites that are dedicated to swing trading. Yet, I could not find any simple description of how to enter and exit a trade. So I developed some basic rules that have been published on my web site www.mrswing.com. I call these rules The Master Plan. Over the years, thousands of investors have used my Master Plan to swing trade. It is my firm belief that a swing trader must trade with discipline. While it is important to keep things simple, the rules of the Master Plan might seem a little intimidating. The main reason I wrote this book was to make swing trading more accessible to the beginner. These rational behind swing trading and the entry and exit rules are presented very clearly – both the beginner and the experienced swing trader will now have a simple guide to follow.

Why does swing trading work? Because you are trading in the direction of the trend. You wait for a pullback before entering the trade, and you enter only if the stock shows a sign that it’s price will continue in the direction of the trend.
The main objective of a swing trader is to profit from swings in price movement over the course of several days. While we might trade every day, we are not day traders. As swing traders, we have the patience to wait until our profit goals have been reached. Fortunately, the wait is not too long. A typical trade is only in play from a few days to a few weeks. When a trade is closed, the funds go into the next trade.
Money management is very important in swing trading. I divide my trading capital by 15. This is the amount that I put into each trade. As the total account grows, the amount of each trade grows. If you can handle a larger number of trades, you might increase the number of trades that are active to 20. Of course you can also start with 2 or 3 trades at a time.
Each day I identify 20 to 25 candidates for swing trading. If I have 10 trades active and enough additional investment capital for 5 more trades, I pick the best 10 from my list of 25, and place the orders. Only some of orders will get filled. I don’t worry about running out of money – if there is no cash left in the account, additional orders will simply not get filled. (Make sure that your own account works this way, otherwise, your brokerage firm might fill the order and expect additional funds within the next few days.)
You must make a personal decision as to whether you want to trade on margin or not. If you are more conservative, you will only trade with the cash that you have on hand. As I discuss later in the book, margin is necessary for selling stocks short, so it is important to have your account approved for margin trading, even if you don’t plan to trade on margin.

She has appeared all over national television promoting the book, including such outlets as the Oprah show and Tyra Banks’s morning program. She claims as clients such celebrities as John Mayer and Halle Berry (and who wouldn’t want a body like Halle Berry, after all?). Of course, all of this is incidental to the central question: what is the 5 Factor diet all about, and does it really work?
The 5 Factor Diet: A Brief Overview
Obviously, any diet book worth its salt cannot be adequately summarized in just a few lines. In fact, it is this very type of summary that has given other diets a bit of a bad name in the general public. Take the Atkins diet, for instance. Because of oversimplification, the vast majority of the uninitiated public (as in, those who have not taken the time to read the book), believe that the Atkins diet is about cutting out carbs completely, for the rest of your life. This is the furthest thing from the truth, and even a cursory reading of the book would show you otherwise. For this reason, we hesitate to simplify any diet, when the book itself would be so much more enlightening. Then again, it would hardly serve the purposes of this report to say: go read it for yourself. So let’s take a look at the 5 Factor Diet with the understanding that no synopsis can do any book (diet or otherwise) much justice.
The 5 Factor diet is built around the glycemic index. If you’re unfamiliar with the glycemic index, it is basically a way for us to tell which foods have the most damaging effect on our blood sugar when we consume them. Scientists and nutritionists believe that foods with a severe impact on the GI cause us to gain weight more rapidly, due to changing spikes in our hunger levels and slower metabolization of the calories themselves. The diet advocates a daily plan of five meals per day, with each meal made up of five components (the “5" in the 5 Factor Diet). These components are a lean protein, a complex carbohydrate, fiber, a good fat, and a sugar free drink.

However it has consistently won for both myself and others. Because ½ of the numbers are Red and ½ Black (minus of couse the Casino advantage of 0) a bet on Red or Black number coming up has a 50-50 chance of winning. If you were able to accurately pick the correct colour every other spin you would break even, minus 1 in every 37 spins (for 0). With this in mind, try the following: Bet on a colour. If you win, take your winning and leave your original bet for the next spin. (A good idea is to start at $1. If you are interested in playing for a long period of time may be winning some money. You can bet more $3 to $5 if you can afford it and are hoping to win some big money). If you lose double your bet. If you continue to lose you may wish to continue doubling your bet, or quit and take the loss. Then start over again, as long as you win, take your winnings and leave your original bet.
Remember you always have the same odds of your bet winning even if the other colour has come in 100 times in a row. I have had nights when I have not lost for more than 4 straight times, but I have also seen the same colour come up 16 staight times.

If you are following the value part, then not everyone is your client; you also wouldn't be able to convince a price conscious consumer. This tidbit of understanding is crucial to get your value strategy just right.
Plan on Squeezing the Value:
Planning on creating value doesn't have to be an elaborate time wasting meeting at work. Sit down and brain storm about various ways you can do a service unique and different from that of your competition (and this should be something that the client will gladly pay for). For instance, you could be a content development company producing web content for your clients. What could you do differently? Well, for starters -- do your job well. Ensure top-notch quality in your work. Further, look to provide value by promoting your clients' websites; spreading the good word; suggesting them more ideas to make their businesses better. You get the point, don't you?
Figure out how to communicate that value
Planning the value is an important step and you'll be glad you have taken it. However, there wouldn't no point in planning if you don't plan to let the world know. You must now see how you could incorporate this value into every communication method you use -- your websites, brochures, proposals, emails, ezines, newsletters, logo, caption. Every word that goes out of your business must communicate that value -- this will be the cornerstone for your brand building strategy.

The literature upon the subject is therefore meager. In his recent treatise upon "The Psychology of the Emotions," Ribot remarks: "The sex-instinct, the last in chronological order with man and the higher animals, gives rise to the emotion of love with its numerous individual varieties. Most psychologists have been very sparing of details where it is concerned, and one might mention certain voluminous treatises which contain no mention of it. Is this through exaggerated delicacy? Or is it because the authors think that their place has been usurped by the novelists who have so obstinately confined themselves to the study of this passion? But the novelist's mode of analysis is different from the psychological mode, and does not exclude it." This author then devotes one chapter of eleven pages to the treatment of the sexual instinct, which includes what he has to say upon sex-love. Brief as this treatment is, it is valuable, both for the facts it presents and for the problems it suggests. Havelock Ellis, who has perhaps done more than any other investigator in the field of the normal Psychology of Sex says in his most recent work: "It is a very remarkable fact that although for many years past serious attempts have been made to elucidate the psychology of sexual perversions, little or no endeavor has been made to study the psychologic development of the normal sexual emotions. Nearly every writer seems either to take for granted that he and his readers are so familiar with all the facts of normal sex psychology that any detailed statement is altogether uncalled for, or else he is content to write a few introductory phrases, mostly made up from anatomic, philosophic and historical work.
"Yet it is unreasonable to take normal phenomena for granted here as in any other region of medicine. A knowledge of such phenomena is as necessary here as physiology is to pathology or anatomy to surgery. So far from the facts of normal sex development, sex emotions and sex needs being uniform and constant, as is assumed by those who consider their discussion unnecessary, the range of variation within fairly normal limits is immense, and it is impossible to meet with two individuals whose records are nearly identical.
"There are two fundamental reasons why the endeavor should be made to obtain a broad basis of clear information on the subject. In the first place, the normal phenomena give the key to the abnormal, and the majority of sexual perversions, including even those that are most repulsive, are but exaggerations of instincts and emotions that are germinal in normal human beings. In the second place, what is normal cannot be determined until the sexual life of a large number of healthy individuals is known, and until the limits of normal sexuality are known the physician is not in a position to lay down any reasonable rules of sexual hygiene."
Although very short, the analysis of the sex passions in adults by Herbert Spencer in a part of one section in his "Principles of Psychology," is one of the best. Bain devotes one chapter to the Tender Emotion which he makes include Sex-love, the parental feelings, the benevolent affection, gratitude, sorrow, admiration and esteem. A very few pages are given to sex-love proper. Very suggestive paragraphs bearing either directly or indirectly upon the subject are to be found in the works of such writers as Moll, Sergi, Mantegazza, James, Janet, Delboeuf, Feré, Boveri, Kiernan, Hartmann, Dessoir, Fincke and others. There is a vast amount of literature upon the pathological phases of the subject which is to be considered in another chapter.
